Wednesday: K.A.T. (This is a program in which students will be challenge and also work to improve speed, strength, and conditioning. There are a variety of different activities that will be preformed on K.A.T. days including but not limited to dynamic warm-up, flexibility stretching, jogging, sprinting, ladders, cone drills, line drills, jumping rope, hoop exercises, strength training exercises {plates, kettle bells, weighted training balls} and core body exercises.

7th Grade

Tuesday: Students will be assigned a desk, we will go over rules and expectations, sign out and register locks and hand out health textbooks.  With the remainder of the class period we will be playing "The Lie Game":  Students will number their paper up to the total number of students in the class. Next, they will go around the room, asking each student to tell something about themselves that is "true or false." Students l will write down the name of the student and guess whether the speaker is telling the truth or telling a lie.

Wednesday: Read Lesson 2 What Tobacco Does to the Body. Group Discussions following the reading. Go over Notes for Lesson 2. Students complete concept map on their own.

Thursday: Silent read Choosing to be tobacco Free lesson 3. Go through notes together and complete concept maps in groups.

Friday: Review for the Test on Chapter 24.


10th Grade Health
